ERS Railways is a European licensed railway company in the A.P.Møller Maersk Group currently operating intermodal shuttle trains in over 15 European countries through our own operations or based on strategic partnerships. We are a young result driven organisation as ERS Railways is Europe’s largest privately owned intermodal railway operator.

• Accept and monitor customer bookings in line with our network and the customer requirements;
• Ensure accurate and timely input of booking details in our core business system;
• Coordinate an efficient flow of transport documents and timely follow up on closing of open orders;
• Constantly strive to achieve maximum utilization levels of ERS Railways trains and focus on continuous improvement of our working processes;
• Maintain and enhance close as well as pleasant working relationships with customers, agents, terminals and other railway companies;
• Continuously provide pro-active communication with suppliers as well as customers’ booking- and customer service departments;
• Checking and approving of invoices within the agreed timeframe;
• Maintain good communication with the internal customers and suppliers, especially with our sales department;
• If required assist internal and/or external customers or suppliers outside office hours.

Key requirements

• Commercial/ Logistic education on MBO level;
• Excellent knowledge of Dutch and English, both verbally and in writing, knowledge of German is an advantage;
• Knowledge of transportation by rail in respect to processes and systems;
• Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office.
